On and when operating our website, personal data is principally only collected to the technically necessary extent. All inventory data, such as for example the name and address of a person as well as the user data (e.g. password, IP address) shall be deemed to be personal data.

Data the customer discloses in connection with orders in our online shop, mainly invoice and delivery address as well as other data that is necessary for handling the order, are necessary for the conclusion, implementation and handling of the contract and for the purpose of future customer service and customer support and are therefore processed and used by us. We use the information for the handling of orders, the delivery of the goods and the rendering of services as well as the settlement of the payment transaction. The passing on of data beyond these purposes to third parties does not take place; in particular, data is in no case sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons.

As long as third parties are commissioned with the fulfilment of certain tasks as service company, for example the delivery of goods shipments or packages or the settlement of payment transactions, these have access to the personal information that is needed for fulfilling the respective task. These data are not used for other purposes; furthermore said third parties undertake to treat the received data in accordance with this data protection declaration and the German data protection laws.

The email address received in connection with the order is not automatically processed and used for marketing measures, like the transfer of information for marketing purposes via email (newsletters) for example. However, our customers have the option of subscribing to the newsletter we offer.

In order to explain how we ensure the protection of the data and which data is collected for which purpose, we will inform you on the data processing in detail. Within the inevitable server statistics such data, which is transferred by the individual person's browser (server log-files), is automatically saved. Nevertheless, these data cannot be allocated to certain persons as a rule. A combination of the saved data with other data sources does not take place. In detail these saved data are as follows:

– Browser type and version
– Used operating system
– Referrer URL
– IP address of the accessing computer
– Time of the server request
– Visited HTML pages

When registering in the login area, the date, time and the respective login code are saved in addition.

Within the (virtual) shopping basket temporary cookies are placed as alphanumeric identification signs. These are deleted when the browser is shut down. The functionality of the online shop is also possible without cookies, if these were rejected by the user. Furthermore, if the user accepts the use of cookies, the user code is saved as ciphertext without the respective personal data to facilitate an easier login procedure.
Therefore the user agrees to usage data being collected, processed and used via cookies in order to enable the control of activities within the online shop. Here, the cookies mainly serve for an easier login procedure and the listing of already selected product views as well as the summary of several items within a (virtual) shopping cart.

We can only pass on such information on the personal data as we save within the already mentioned scope, mainly with regard to the information our customers disclosed when placing an order. With regard to other data that was saved in connection with the mere use of the website, we cannot allocate this to certain persons as a rule.

The approval for the processing of the personal data can be revoked at any time with future effect. This can be done by a note to the address below or via mail to eu@tennis-peters.com.

If the customer wishes to pay the delivery on account or via bank collection, PETERS Sport- und Tennisversand GmbH reserves the right to verify the customer's creditworthiness by passing his personal data on to infoscore Consumer Data GmbH and informa Unternehmensberatung GmbH (each domiciled in Rheinstraße 99 in 76532 Baden-Baden / Germany) for verification before contract conclusion. Here PETERS Sport- und Tennisversand GmbH obtains information on creditworthiness from the mentioned companies on the basis of mathematic-statistic procedures in order to protect its justified interests.

Of course the customer's interests that are subject to protection will be considered in accordance with the statutory regulations.
